Canvas Ninja started in a college dorm because we were tired of the same problem: the second you tab away from a Canvas quiz — even just to grab a calculator app — your instructor gets a log entry that says you did. Every other Chrome extension we found was a productivity tweak (dark mode, GPA calc); none of them touched the quiz log itself.

- Is it safe?

- Can my school detect that I'm using it?
- No. Canvas has no way to enumerate installed browser extensions, and Canvas Ninja makes no server-side changes. The "missing" tab-switch events look identical to a student who simply didn't tab away.
- Which browsers work?
- Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Arc on desktop. Not Safari, not mobile, not iPad — those don't support Chrome Web Store extensions.
